The three roles
Vanguards take space and hold the front. Duelists bring the main damage and picks. Strategists handle healing and support tools.
A match is usually built from a mix of those roles. The exact meta shifts by season, so check the official hero list when a new hero launches.
Why composition matters
Two Vanguards can hold a choke that one cannot. A single Strategist has less room to reposition. Duelist count changes how fast a fight ends.
Team-up abilities add pair bonuses on top of roles. Those are normal game rules, not cheat features.
Where the product uses roles
Role Filter on /features/aimbot can limit targets by role. Team Targeting and Heal Threshold are the support-side options.
The filter does not rewrite a hero’s role. Jeff the Land Shark remains a Strategist even when Always Target Jeff Fin is on.
